My lifestyle won't change if it goes to zero but I have a very good friend in his eighties whose entire net worth+ is invested in this stock.

That is so unbelievably sad. Where were your friend's advisors and family members when these decisions were made? If this deal falls apart and MDMN subsequently trades sub-penny as it surely will what will your friend do? Medicaid? Just awful.
