I'm certain Glassware doesn't run Power BI. Perhaps it could be a service connector provided by the container to stream big data?

Also, Power BI is not completely new.

SE/Umiak - You're both right, when I went back and clicked on the links I thought were related they weren't. I do believe that sphere's data retrieval benefits do play a role but I'm not qualified to speak to that in any way. Didn't mean to stir up the troops needlessly. Thought I was on to something and didn't do enough reading. Apologies - I'll stick to the basics going forward.
