DLA is still backing us. Industry is still pressing on buy new goods directly from them, and this has been done forever. The deal is we keep most items in Department of Defense inventory working for decades. Original manufacturer stops manufacturing fairly damn quickly and sells out their extra stock FOR IMMEDIATE PROFIT.
These guys put their mom out on the street for money then hitch when she ain't there to cook supper. They make billions but don't have any compnctionss to support a program over it's life span. So much for dedication.
