Thanks -- although you're taking the fun out of all of my pondering.

So with that said, assuming 1000 stores...do you know if those 1000 stores are ONLY going to carry SF brand?

SF has 800 stores nationwide I believe. Going into 1000 dollar general stores I would think could yield them the same volume. Even half would be awesome. At that point, wouldn't the production plant be "profitable". Notice I didn't say 22nd century. Just the plant itself.

Also, I wonder if part of SFs deal with commonwealth (former producing plant for SF cigs) was that they could only sell their product in SF stores. Just find it interesting that SF, to my knowledge is only now trying to push their label into other outlets.

Anymore light you can shed is great.

"No mention of cigars in this deal" is probably a good thing. I think the cigar industry will see a shift soon. The US and Cuba are becoming buddies. It won't be long before we see Cuban cigars selling here. I'm not a cigar smoker, but I hear Cubans are, by far, the best....

Thanks for the ramblings from the Western New York rumor mill. The breadth of your statement didn't ring with me until I re-read your message. This achievement would clear up a lot of plant overhead like LNP mentioned, and more importantly, bolster XXII brand equity for future business by positively linking 22nd with another big name (not named British Tobacco).

"22nd Century wins sole distributorship of SF private label cigarette brand in 1,000 Dollar General stores" would make a nice PR that was unexpected by the market.
