Your saying wasted. Who you want driving you home. Someone who had 2 beers or someone who just smoked some fine herb and can barely keep eyes open.

Agreed 100% I used to visit a private mj-friendly social club in Denver last year when they first opened. The crowds that would show up for an mj cooking class or an mj workshop were awesome. They were what I would call cool, mellow, friendly, and articulate. On these class nights, because it was private property, if you wanted to fire one up, you could - no big deal. Everyone seemed polite, seemed intelligent and most were very much into the idea of being respectful to this new responsibility we all had - and that was to make sure this "MJ experiment" worked for everyone. It seemed as though the eyes of the world were watching what was going on in Denver to see if the “greatest social experiment ever” was going to crash and burn or rise above the skepticism and be a success. We all wanted to show that being involved with MJ was a good thing. We felt the preconceived notions the establishment had conjured up – like the stereotypes shown in the old movie “Reefer Madness” or the personal convictions of some who claimed MJ was a dangerous drug were just not true! In hindsight, it was easy to see the elevated crowd was very well behaved and it was a pleasure to hang out with them in that relaxed easy-going environment.

HOWEVER, on certain nights, they would have open house and serve alcohol to appease the other side of the aisle. NOW, if it was just beer and wine night, that probably would not have been a problem either. (unless you consider the health problems associated with alcohol, the car accidents and fatalities associated with drunk driving, and all of the families that have been destroyed by the misuse of alcohol but I will save that conversation for another time.) The point is when you join the “Being able to light up” crowd with an “All you can drink” crowd, look out. In this case, it turned into a nightmare. It was unbelievably bad - people would get loud, boisterous, and rude and often times they would exhibit real stupid behavior - fights would break out, people would get hurt, it was insane. So I stopped going.

So, I agree with PennyStockPickz and with the idea of having a Bud + Breakfast - where having an environment where people can enjoy the thought-provoking, insightful and relaxing affects of THC is a good thing. If you just want to have a couple of drinks, no problem there either but when you allow people to mix and match, they end up playing “mad scientist” and if you think by trying to mix the affects of alcohol with the affects of thc you will end up with a best case scenario?, well, my experience has shown it just doesn't end well. GO MJMJ & Thank you Penny for sharing your wisdom.
