Good thinking! Doubt the Pepper is sold in the US. The Carebot is less money and a better value proposition. At only 1K Peppers per month, that is only 7K robots this year in Japan. Many more than 1200! . Softbank and Foxconn must be super excited since I read that the Japanese national health insurance pays 90% of personal robot costs for elder care. So the user would only pay about $12-15 per year, not $135 due to that Japanese government subsidy! . No wonder Softbank sold 40% of their acquisition for more than what they paid 100% for! . HUGE Japanese subsidy here, HUGE!
