#36687 RE: yip #36685

Mahalo Yip-a-howlie. We got the DLA bagged Brother. May not be the 5 Federal Stock Groups for a bit. Those presentations from their June Mfgring Soirees EMPHASIZED their determination to work with industrial partners.

Lot of strong points to those industrial participants in those presentations that the DLA is a cash cow for manufacturers and they were going to need to cooperate to play.

On that note, National Defense Authorization Act for FY 2016 still being kicked around for other issues. We have positive wording in it where manufacturers can get their non-compliant asses kicked the ____ off confirmed govt. supplier lists for dicking around with DLA supply chain.

You can keyword search it, "no dicking with DLA no more, 2016 NDAA":). And any competing marking and surface mapping technologies out of the picture.

Here's an October 2014 story in Breaking Defense detailing DLA's development plans with our closest competitor.[/quote]

Counterfeiters By Sydney J. Freedberg Jr.

Check out the website of our competitor in the Secretary Of Defense's development grant Subsidiary of Chromologic.

AND, I do feel concern for this promising company, at least the employees. Seems like they faded away.

All I got. Wife is insisting I PAY SOME ATTENTION here. Other than to you:)

Aloha!
Mike
