After all, the way this supposedly happened is that 1) Jim told 2) Kyle who told 3) an investor who 4) posted it on the board as he thought he heard it who was 5) quoted by SCM who posted it again in a non-contextual format for you to see.

You think that telephone game style train of thought would be pure enough to think Jim Sinclair would say something like that? I doubt it.

But it's how rumors get started and how things then get to become "Oh, but Jim Sinclair said this treasure would be worth 6 billion dollars". The train that brought that thought into the station is forgotten, but the claim remains. If Jim Sinclair told YOU that, then you could talk about it and be dismayed. But the circumvented way this supposedly happened? Nope. My bets would be strongly against Jim EVER saying something as crazy as this wreck having 6 BILLION dollars on it. Don't you agree? You know Jim. It just doesn't sound like him. Blow it off, as the same person stirring the pot.
