Let me rephrase: The company in question may be rock solid, but your ownership interest isn’t because you’re not an actual shareholder with BoD representation. I would suggest carefully reading the SEC filings for any of the prospective companies you’re thinking of buying.
The above applies even to WX, which is the probably the bluest blue-chip biotech in China. They do business with everybody.
