THE COMPANY
Common Securitization Solutions, LLC ("CSS") is seeking a Director, Securitization Operations Center for its off-site operations center in Los Angeles, CA. Based in Bethesda, MD, CSS is focused on developing America's new way for housing finance. A Joint Venture between Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, CSS has been established to develop the Common Securitization Platform (CSP) to be utilized by the secondary housing finance market in the United States.
This position will report to CSS executive management, based in Los Angeles, CA.
JOB INFORMATION
Serve as the Director of the Out of Region Operating Center (OROC), with full responsibility for executive decision-making around the center's fulfillment of assigned mission
Serve as primary point of contact for all Securities related activities performed in the OROC location; initially Issuance, Disclosure and Bond Administration, ultimately expanding to include Tax Reporting, Modeling and Master Servicing,
Directly manage staff of 6-10 across multiple disciplines, and coordinate management of support staff that must also be located in the OROC,
Assist in design of staff training materials and coordinate activities between OROC and Home Office
Serve as the primary Project Manager to establish the OROC,Ensure daily tasks are completed within the specific agreed upon service level requirements established between the GSEs and CSS.
Must work with Home Office functional management team to ensure all controls are followed and work assignments are completed as scheduled
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
10 years of related experience
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Previous senior management experience with Securities Operations (Bond Administration, Issuance, Master Servicing, Disclosure, Modeling – Intex)
Demonstrated knowledge and direct experience working with GSE’s loan and securities products (characteristics, data, timelines, etc.)
Working knowledge of the Federal Reserve Bank and DTCC operational requirements
Previous experience with Private Label Securities (PLS) and the operational requirements for serving in a Trustee capacity
Leadership and experience in standing up Investor Reporting platforms
Previous experience on highly visible project, working as a Project Manager
Strong analytical skills
Excellent verbal and writing skills
Ability to negotiate
Work well under pressure and tight timelines
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
