If I have 1M unrestricted shares that I am holding, then I receive 1M restricted new shares, how many can I dump and retain 1M shares to hold???

Those who say that issued restricted shares don't change volatility or liquidity or the trading price are just plain wrong.

One day you own 10 out of 20 unrestricted shares (50%)of a company worth $1,000 so the trading price is around $50.00/share. The next day, the company issues 100 more restricted shares. And people somehow think the value of their shares is still $50.00 simply because the "float hasn't changed. Magically, the $1,000 company became a $6,000 company solely because management printed more shares???
