From his February 2015 blog:

"In the meantime, I played with the popular VLC media player, which has a handy sharpen filter. It works very well. You can even toggle it during playback to easily see how well it works. If you want to save a lot of bandwidth on a 4K TV, just play a regular HEVC-encoded HD video upscaled 200% and sharpen it. When I saw how good it was, I understood why nobody cares about TRUDEF."

I agree with your statement: So I agree he has an agenda whether it's to hvec idk but hes def not a belieber in fractal upscaling bc no1 else has made it work seems to be his argument

There is NOTHING in the market that can do what TRUPIX can do NOTHING!!.

YES,rendering in the AE render queue is "extremely" slow.
Projects that took an hour or two now take 12 hours or even longer!!.

It might be related to "upscaling" using the detail-preserving-filter....

It is the same running it through adobe media encoder!!.
The Detail-Preserving Upscale effect is simply a very render-intensive effect....
It's doing a lot of complex calculations to upscale things without losing detail. It will never be fast!!.

TMMI TRUDEF TRUPIX move$ onward$ and upward$ Worldwide!!.
