Last week I had Etrade clear about 9 of my past holdings out that were worth 0 or just a couple cents. Some I had held for a couple years and I was tired of getting charged a $20.00 fee when some of them split. Etrade will typically do that for no fee if one calls them and asks.
I'll keep an eye on it. When I sold the 1 ELRA share last time, the broker had stated that with the multiole R/S that there may have been partial shares and they would round up to the nearest whole. It's really annoying. I've been fortunate so far as both times I didn't get charged. Fingers crossed for all of us that we don't continue to get screwed.
