Let's call this the story of Bill Joy's conversion... brought to us by a friend who takes a very common sense approach to investing wink Here it is in his words and Bill's through twitter...

"I first ran across Bill Joy , like you did, in the comment section of Simons article. As you know at that time he was quite skeptical. Then I cam across some tweets between him & Simon a couple of days ago. The first tweets were from 6/22. He still sounded doubtful about Sphere & GlassWare. His final tweet was this:

William Joy ?@billjoy72 Jun 22
@SimonBramfitt Good night Simon. Off to Redmond tomorrow for tech briefing at Msft. Have lots of questions to ask about their container tech

Whatever he found out at Microsoft seemed to have completely turned him around and he made the following tweets after his trip:

William Joy ?@billjoy72 Jun 24
Enjoying briefing at #Microsoft, this is definitely not "yesterday's company". The change is extraordinary

William Joy ?@billjoy72 Jun 24
"We've been focused on re-engineering our tech stack to make it easy to take advantage of cloud service delivery"-#Microsoft cloud architect

William Joy ?@billjoy72 Jun 24
@simoncrosby @Sphere3D With Glassware, everything runs in microvisor & container in cloud, thus hack proof with better performance than VMW

William Joy ?@billjoy72 Jun 25
@mkleef @simoncrosby Then you would know about Glassware container tech. Embedded in Azure to deliver any app any device plus cloud storage

William Joy ?@billjoy72 Jun 25
@mkleef Hmmm, company is saying Glassware & SnapCloud are core of Win10/Azure & Azure storage respectively. Thus make Msft secure, scalable

William Joy ?@billjoy72 Jun 25
@mkleef Recommendations for other sources? Glassware is also "only way to extend life of XP and XP apps." Appreciate your input. Tnx"
