You have to admit that it fits in very well with the available facts, and by "facts" I mean almost anything that doesn't come out of NTEK's various mouths.

There's a few gray areas that defy credulity, of course. It presupposes that there was some executive at Paramount who was stupid enough to give these numbnuts $700,000 in credit to lease Interstellar. A second's worth of DD on that executive's part should have been sufficient to know that the studio would be stiffed on their payments, because that's what these people do. Why pay Paramount out of their precious dilution money when they can just keep that money for themselves?

So I strongly suspect that this Paramount executive has lost his/her job. They hand the keys to one of their most valuable possessions over to thieves on blithe lies? Try walking into a Porsche dealership with terrible credit and no money down and see if you drive away in a new car, armed with nothing but a glib tongue.

The other thing, and I figure we'll never have a good answer to this, is why Foley didn't wrap this mess up and declare bankruptcy before he went to prison. It's already just about squeezed out anyway. It only makes sense if some of the toxic debt they've accumulated is on the insiders themselves, rather than the corporation, so they can't just erase it by erasing the company.

But who's dumb enough to invest their own personal money in their scam company?

Can any of it be proved wrong?
