We are all in the same boat.
I applied for a mortgage to find out my
wifes ID had been stolen.
It took 10 hours a week for for 4 months to straigthen out the problem.
No corporation, bank, credit agency believed us
and wanted to collect before they were forced to admit
that her ID was stolen.
Crazy f`ing system.
I paid 7% interest on that house instead of 3.5%:O(

2 years later we applied for another mortgage and were told my wife had died. Since she was sitting with me applying for the mortgage, we were stunned again.
