According to the paper Lindsay parked her car in the wrong place. Security officers inspected the car and saw part of the kitchen knife sticking out from under the front seat where it ended up after Lindsay used the car for moving over the weekend. This apparently gave officials license to search her car, throw and honor student in jail for a whole day, suspend her from school for the remainder of the school year, and now deny her the right to graduate with her class.
