The money they started with was clean...you can't take clean money and clean it again to make it cleaner...However, I will say that the process they did it with was questionable (illegal)...Now had they used money that was from illegal real estate trading activity and laundered it...that would justify your statement...but how do we prove that the so called 'taxpayer' money was or was not from that source?
