Hi GreedAintBad: I pleased as punch you asked how "AG positively influences market action." It's easy. He manipulates the market Every DAY!. No kidding. He's in there with both fists, both feet, ear, nose and throat....buying, buying, buying. No dummy he, this is how AG props and propels the market. And let no one tell you different. I have it on the best of authority, [I used to date his wife] and we still have...well, you know what I mean. 'Sides, I must protect my source(s.)

The Fed's function is to provide stable markets.
This leads many posters here to go beyond that fact.
Back in Sep 2001 the FED did take action in the markets.

GAB, here is the correct answer to your question.

With the possible/probable exception of the event mentioned by Larry Dudash,

THERE IS NO CREDIBLE EVIDENCE THAT AG DIRECTLY INFLUENCES THE MARKET

THERE IS NO CREDIBLE EVIDENCE THAT AG INDIRECTLY INFLUENCES THE MARKET IN ANYTHING LIKE THE MANNER IN WHICH HE IS BELIEVED TO DO SO BY VARIOUS AND SUNDRY CONSPIRACY THEORISTS ON THIS THREAD.

There. That's it.

Now, if you want to learn something about trading, ignore the AG cultists and pay attention to people like Lee Kramer. He's been trading -- for a living -- since before most of us were born.

He influences posting from what I can see, but not much else in the daily markets. Why? Do you think he likes BRCD here or something <G>
