Let me summarize -- in the movie Vacation, the family drives all the way to Wally World all excited and expecting that since they've heard the park is complete, had a ribbon-cutting event and everything, that no doubt they'd have an exciting time filled with action.

Then they get there and are told the park is closed for repairs as some of the equipment still isn't there. The family gets a tour anyway but it's just not the same.

For some reason the park in that movie reminds me of NNVC although I'm more often reminded of Fantasyland.
