firedoc- Most hve no idea that Microsoft was nowhere until it secured a licensing deal with IBM. IBM needed the OS so bit the bullet and then watched MS out pace it by miles.
The analogy is apt but the numbers will not be as big shoud XLPI secure somenthing with one of the majors. It is still a dream but stranger things have happened. And all penny players live on dreams...
