You're correct that the local MMAR enthusists are nothing more then hired thugs of criminals trying to threaten, lie, and misinform legal investors so their unregulated industry will continue to be available for them. Its self-serving, but it is expected too when they are so used to defending their 'turf' aka marketshare with threats and violence.
