Well said, perhaps, but incorrect: what are you posters missing about the fact that AM is an ALTERNATE way of doing what GE had already accomplished:

It may be that the Rev X version of the combustor can only be produced via AM, but the fact exists that it (the AM version) is a REPLACEMENT for what came before.

Also, not one single poster has addressed the fact that GE is not producing the "nozzle" intact as an AM part, but is in fact building only the combustor via the AM process.
