I agree and interestingly, it's a sly move to get around the stock giveaway to distributors.

A couple things here:

-- Xxii can ship directly to the store so they maybe be able to get product on the shelves at a closer price to Marlboro in NY area.

-- xxii has control over who when where and how they push the product to the retailer

- most importantly in my book -- NY doesn't have many large distributors. Harold Levinstein is one of the only large players around NY and they are mostly a redistributor. Xxii should be able to reach way more outlets this way rather than through very small distributors.

The only thing is I wonder where they are storing the product and who is the trucking company they are using???
