I didn't think I had any compadres...but if I do, I'll bet that they know how to read.

The phrase that you took out of context....."...isn't a high dollar value source of fund participation" was part of a sentence that began with the words "The Microcap Index, however....".
All Russell Indexes are not the same and while there are institutional funds that use both the Russell 2000 Index and their Microcap Index as their tracking tool, the dollars tied to the Microcap are a literal pittance compared to those tied to the 2000. The investments in the companies included in the respective indexes are affected accordingly.

For example, Blackrock manages the iShares Russell 2000 Index fund (ticker IWM). Its most recent net assets were $29,663,507,620. It's the 5th largest iShares fund.

They also manage the iShares Micro-Cap fund (ticker IWC). Its most recent net assets totaled $937,538,153, or about 3% of the value of the 2000 fund. That ranks it somewhere around 80th in size in the iShares fund group.

Get it?
"The Microcap Index, however, isn't a high dollar value source of fund participation" as if saying, it doesn't matter...?!?"

That's pretty much the case. The fact that NNVC survived the cut-off for the Micro-Cap Index, which includes the bottom half of the R2000 and the next 1,000 companies (by market cap) will do just a mustache hair more than diddly squat in terms of retaining institutional investment dollars.
Beginning in July the institutional investment in NNVC will for the most part only include institutions that WANT TO hold the shares and very few that are obligated to based on using an index as a benchmark.

ps. Tell me more about this FluCide™ stuff. Where can I get it?
Who owns that trademark? Does TheraCour know that NanoViricides is asserting rights to it? (Does Diwan private know that Diwan public is asserting those rights?)

What does it mean that the term was used in the Detailed Description section of another company's patent, specifically US Patent #8,871,799?
"New influenza and West Nile virus drugs that are or will be available for potential administration in combination or conjunction with the compounds and methods disclosed herein include, without limitation, neuraminidase inhibitors (Peramivir, Laninamivir); triple therapy--neuraminidase inhibitors ribavirin, amantadine (ADS-8902); polymerase inhibitors (Favipiravir); reverse transcriptase inhibitor (ANX-201); inhaled chitosan (ANX-211); entry/binding inhibitors (Binding Site Mimetic, Flucide); entry inhibitor, (Fludase); fusion inhibitor, (MGAWN1 for West Nile); host cell inhibitors (lantibiotics); cleavage of RNA genome (RNAi, RNAse L); immune stimulators (Interferon, Alferon-LDO; Neurokinin1 agonist, Homspera, Interferon Alferon N for West Nile); and TG21."

Or does it matter that it was used in the same context in US Patent #8,895,608?
How about in US Patent #8,927,561?

All three of the above patents were granted during the last 9 months and assigned to Kineta, Inc. (Seattle, WA). Is Nanoviricide's FluCide™ the Binding Site Mimetic referred to in those patents or are they referring to some other FluCide?

I am in no way loanrangers compadre. He often corrects and disagrees with my opinion. I have however come to respect the fact that he will chime in on either side of a discussion and is not biased in any way. It took a while for me to realize this.

Just sayin'
