wish: I was merely pointing out that when you issue further shares due to changing from authorized to outstanding it reduces the PPS unless for an accretive acquisition.
You can ref this on a book written by David Scott called "Wall St Words" where he defines EPS as OS not authorized based there for when you change from authorized to OS it affects the EPS
Perhaps I misread your original post, and the two things are somehow unrelated. Regardless since I only have 15 posts for the day so I am not too thrilled by a debate on the subject when I have his book sitting in front of me and I had thought that is what you were talking about. Perhaps not.
