I'm sure there has been multiple meetings involving multiple think tanks advising the EU creditors and IMF that LETTING Greece go and not submitting to demand is necessary so that the other bigger countries/economies don't follow suit.

Scary though, when Greece defaults and flips the country might fall into civil unrest quickly.
