O/T Ben Wallace going to Chicago? They can't pay him as much as Detroit can, and they'll have riots in the streets in Detroit if they let him go.

As for Ben on the downside, he's getting older, and he can't play all those minutes and be effective.

One thing that was telling to me was he lost every single jump ball to Shaq in the series. During the regular season he won pretty much all of them. However, they didn't blow the whistle on Shaq when he got the ball on the way up every single jump ball in the Detroit series like they did in the regular season.

Whatever they do I hope they don't let Danny Crawford and his crew officiate in the finals. They are terrible. Dick Bavetta's crew, Joey Crawfords crew are fine.

O/T Detroit's situation reminds me a lot of the Boston Celtics in 1998. They were getting old, and when they thought they were re-loading with a high pick in 1986, he died on them. They have never recovered from that.

They couldn't dump the guys they had or they'd have been run out of town. They just had to keep running with what they had. It caught up with them.
