JMO, but I think the $7 Million contract announced last Friday is just the beginning of more announcements. But there was no real volume when they put that PR out late on Friday. (Never a good idea to put out press late on any Friday, imo).
So you do not get see volume coming in because no one really saw the news until Monday. But by that time, traders and shareholders do not see an impact. So there is that "You go first" mentality on buying.
Just a guess, but everyone seemed to think that they could try to get the stock on the bid, like you mention. Now there seems to be a rush from buyers that thought they could get a bid price--and the stock is getting away from them .
Still--volume over 100,000 and a strong close will get more attention. Now if the company could get another contract announcement out soon, I bet $1.00 is coming.
