Amen Arch!!! The crown jewel of BIGN is moving to OTC-BB and then on to a higher exchange. This company is in its infancy, and has so much farther to go. My opinion is that many people wait a lifetime to find a stock like this!!!

Arch_oil, you're wrong on Tyche dividend.

>I'm really not sure how the action will play out because some may have been in just for the dividend and since the ex-div date has passed they can now sell and not worry about not getting Tyche shares. You had to hold thru the record date AND ex-div date (BOTH DATES) to get the shares. Anyone who says otherwise is lying.<

Then explain to me why I got the dividend on the shares I held on the record date and not the amount I held through the pay date? I reduced my position by a tad over 100,000 by the pay date and still got paid the dividend amount from what I owned on the record date.

You're full of misinformation and/or you have no clue of what you're talking about.

By the way, I have my dividend, and I can do the math.

Ex dividend date is 2 days prior to record date for cash dividends. But for stock dividends one has to hold until 1 day past payment date.

There are 4 components

declaration date
record date
ex dividend date
payment date

BIGN declaration date was May 3 with the press release that day
Record date was set for May 19, 2006 in the release
Ex-dividend date was 2 days prior
Payment date was june 2, 2006 as stated.

But since it was a stock dividend you had to hold it until 1 day past which is monday.

You had to buy the stock on or prior to May 17 to get the stock dividend and you had to hold it until Monday June 5.. That way the trade would have settled prior to the record date and you would be a shareholder of record.
