The Trane announcement is a huge endorsement of Telkonet. I've never seen a previous announcement made by Trane that endorses Telkonet like this one did, and that indicates they will be actively promoting Telkonet's products and services. If you have any previous Trane-Telkonet PR announcements that comes close to this one, please do share.

I mean really, just read part of the announcement: "....In the past few months, we have been going through an extensive process, aimed at offering additional HVAC and comfort system options for the hotel and hospitality industry — options that can provide smart guest room control and energy savings,” said Steve Brandt, Trane hospitality strategic account manager. “Telkonet’s EcoSmart platform has proven its ability to not only create an in-room energy management network to enhance energy efficiency, but also to streamline remote equipment monitoring and manage maintenance more efficiently to extend equipment life. Now, we are excited to expand EcoSmart’s use with its intelligent thermostats to be included with Trane guest room HVAC products, upgrading existing hotels and installing with new construction. We are confident that this solution will provide Trane with flexibility, scalability and efficiencies to meet current as well future industry needs...."

What is not to love about that statement??!! And don't overlook this announcement was made by Trane, NOT Telkonet.

The tweets coming out of Milwaukee are very promising....this suggests to me they have exciting developments to be shared in the very near future at HITEC. Telkonet has made it obvious this past year that they now consider themselves an "internet of things" company, so I believe we will see them further expand their technology in this market. A recent ACHRnews.com headline states that building IoT will be a 76 BILLION dollar market by 2020, according to Memoori Building Intelligence Ltd. That's HUGE!!!
