#36429 RE: TheyCallMeBruce #36428

Damn Bruce, great to see you. Been a while. On weighted averages steered to volume, we're way the Hell Down in volume. And how do you really feel about House of Representatives Bill 1597 Agile Acquisition to Retain Technological Edge Act?

Actually, doesn't matter two shits about what either one of us feel about it. Some posts somewhere on these posts about it. Already passed within the National Defense Authorization Act through Congress. Still _____king around with it by the POTUS (President Of The United States) process (and I like O'Bama (Irish spelling)).

We got another shindig coming up at the end of the month hosted by the DLA. Multi manufacturers. Our General In Charge (Busch) been stirring shit up. I think he doesn't want to be footing the bill anymore for marking parts in the DLA House (Intramurals).

IMHO, the GENERAL wants to move it back to the mfgrs. Unpackaging, ESD handling, marking, validating and repackaging ICs within FSC 5962 is more than a little laborious (our General notes this). Put our kickapoo joy juice right in the marking ink, and there's nothing to it. This applies to ALL 6 FEDERAL STOCK GROUPS they're going to be talking about. Changes coming because we're going major league (vs. intramurals). Here's a <LINK TO THE HOUSE BILL>, and here's a citation.

BTW, I'm known as a pumper.

Section 100 on that Rapid Procurement Bill: (5)Innovative

The acquisition system should be innovative, meaning that barriers should be removed that preclude companies from undertaking defense business or officials from proposing new approaches.

Our competitor in surface patterns (Chromologic subsidiary Convisus) ain't posting anything other than releasing they're product NOW, this June. We're proven.

Good Seeing you Bruce. Gonna hunt you down on the Jersey Shore someday.
