You left out the part about how in invented a whole "aircraft" FROM SCRACH, by himself, no big aerospace corps backing him, the gear box along in the Osprey air craft was like a 1.2 Billion to develop and get "right" ... Plus he is an inventor, not a Businessman which has hurt him over the years :-(
