Good things and bad things about BOCX
Good..They are in a field where the demand for search and cure is high.
Good..Increased RECAF level is a valid marker for high cell division rate.
Bad.. Moro is unable to find any source of significant money to take a product into testing. Question. JP Turner, whom he engaged in search of financing, has a whole lineup of Slime financiers. We have not heard anything about JP Turner. Did Moro reject offers from the slime or did he not get any offers from even the Slime?
Good...The latest release states that the test could be improved to better show early detection if it was able to be personalized over a period of time.
Bad..The above statement shows that the current test is set at a level that is too high to consistently detect early cancers.
Good..Moro was able to license the RECAF technology to Abbott for use on their analyzers.
Bad.. Not much up front money was obtained in the deal.
Bad.. Moro has not been able to license the RECAF technology to anyone else at an equal or greater return value for BOCX than the Abbott deal.
Bad..BOCX is currently in a position of total disaster if Abbott would return the license.
Good..If Abbott is positive in the feasibility study, the milestone should be significant.
Bad..The test ran by itself is not definitive. A high level of RECAF would just indicate that further diagnosis or testing should be done.
Bad..The level of RECAF in the blood may vary from person to person or from day to day.
Good.. I see this as a "tag along" test to be used as a possible confirmation rather than a stand alone test. i.e., the PSA has a lot of false positives. A higher level of RECAF would definitely indicate a need for further examination.
Bad. As a "tag along" test, the amount of money charged for the test might not be as high as some anticipate.

This is my overall opinion. Abbott does not have much invested to lose if the test doesn't work out but the most positive is that Abbott thinks it has potential or they would not have done it in the first place. If we have not heard anything from Abbott within about 18 months, I would begin to have really bad feelings. Minimum advanced royalties would not be payable until October of 2007 so that would be the absolute deadline for Abbott to have had something done, trials underway, etc. They would have to be anticipating revenue from the test in 2008.
My better half only has 3k shares. That is not a huge gamble and I did not suggest that she sell but IMO, owning it right now is like going to Vegas and laying it all on black.
