#282990 RE: pacrat #282976

All these ideas sound great in theory. What seems to be ignored is the machines cannot achieve anything even close to reasonable up-times and throughput even with purchased, pre-sorted, and in the words of the company "optimal" plastic. This despite the fact purchased HTF is added. The company last said .2 or even more gallons of HTF should be added for every pound of plastic. And in fact the company had their contract with Madison County terminated for cause once they closed their recycling facility because they needed "cleaner" plastic. And in the last DEC report they had to ship huge amounts of plastic the machines could not handle to a recycling facility. That is a fact.

So is the theory the machines CANNOT process 'optimal' purchased plastic with purchased HTF, but they CAN process unwashed and commingled material at reasonable throughput and up-time? How does that even remotely make sense?

By the way the most famous last words of almost EVERY pyrolysis scam I have examined is something like: "But I saw the machine running...."
