I've ridden a few of those into the dirt myself: Energy Conversion Devices, Beacon Power, Electro Energy, Evergreen Solar... I've believed all these years that Capstone's product is so much more mature and the market is so ripe, it's got to be different. It's got to become profitable sooner or later, right?

For much of the last seven years I've allowed DJ to just keep blowing that "improving margins" smoke right up my exhaust port but at this point that smoke is starting to come out my ears. I'm seriously beginning to fear this company is about to be raped and pillaged and all of us shareholders are going to be left holding worthless paper while some Michael Milken style crook runs off with anything left of value. Somebody somewhere is going to make a fortune on it someday but will any of us ever get even a whiff of that cheese?
