By the way, they were the first online account I set up, mainly because they have a bricks&mortar office near me that made me feel my money was safer in cyberspace for some reason <ggg>. Newly
I have few complaints about TDWaterhouse. I only make about 60 trades per month, all limit orders. Fee is $9.95 for up to 5000 shares (first 10 trades each month are charged $12.95) Execution is reasonable though watching on Level II my orders are usually the last to fill when TDCM is the MM. Most times I have had no problem finding shares available to short when others are complaining none are available through their brokers.
I certainly would not recommend TDWaterhouse for fast paced day trading, but for me it works well.
