Now, the problem is it will collect in our organs over time and do damage just as alcohol does to the human liver and pancreas and who knows what else over time. So, nobody really knows what is going on. IMO, by the time society realizes it was a mistake, it will be in the soil and ground water an will take decades to clean that up.
An example is that Tyson, a huge chicken farmer put arsenic in chicken feed, for who knows why. The chickens pooped it out and it went into rivers and streams. Rice farmers downstream now have higher amounts of arsenic in their rice compared to California.
