Anybody have any thoughts on why Seymour's posse was apparently tipped off four months early before a nearly 50% crash?

Is that legal?

Apparently this vital information found its way to me of all people. Likely Seymour's family and friends all were given heads up hence the crash long before it became public.

Here is the obvious question: Despite the NPC1-binding site being buried, it still manages to hook up with the NPC1 receptor on cells so the virus can enter the cell. So... what's the difference between the receptor on the cell and the same receptor on the micelle?
