That in NO way would dismiss Treaty Energy, a defendant, from the fraud that was committed BY TREATY ENERGY... It just does not work that way. Treaty Energy, a defendant, in the eyes of the law is treated the same as a individual. And the SEC is seeking the maximum penalty allowed by law.

Treaty is mentioned 274 times in the SEC fraud complaint...
