Yes, reverse splits and uplisting have caused problems for some companies -- but there was NO reason to start claiming (when the stock was still well above 3) that a reverse split was "on the table" -- especially given that the CEO was on record as saying NO reverse split would happen.
Fear, uncertainty, doubt -- that was the reason for bringing up a non-event that was never in the cards -- simply mentioned to scare off people from buying shares.
