in March of 2000, one of the biotechs zoomed over 9,600% in just three (3) short months. In December of 1999 it was selling for .50 a share and by March 11th 2000 (I believe that is the date) the stock zoomed to 48 5/8.

The name of this Rocket is Ariad Pharmaceuticals.

Wow, that's just incredible!
I wasn't aware about this because the complete chart in the last 21 years doesn't reveal this until we zoom in the daily trading for a short period of a couple months and we can see ARIA traded at $1.16/share on 12/10/1999 and as high as $48.50/share on 03/03/2000.
Now I see why some people on this message board calling ARIA buyout price could be as high as $40 to $80/share.
