I rely on scans. I have them set up with custom settings. If you don't use them you should. My scans alert me to stocks that are down a certain % - those are the type of plays I trade. But you can setup scans for all different perimeters - ie volume, block trades, bearish/bullish indicators, earnings, under a certain price, in a specific exchange - so many different ways you can set them up depending on what you like to trade. You should be using these and not relying on picks from chat room posters.
