Wrong, cosmic chi. This type of financing is toxic, not 'otherwise'. All they need is public shell with any semblance of a story to tell. That's the only 'something' they saw that SVFC has. And the otc pink sheets are full of these flybynighters. Its Dr. Victor who went looking for these guys (Yorkville Advisors), not the other way around.
No Cosmic Chi, it doesn't mean that. It means that at some point they thought it was worth the risk, and the playing field is not even close to being even. They win in situations where investors lose because the conversion rates stack the cards in their favor...heavily.
It is worth their risk because they don't lose nearly as many times as regular investors do in these stocks. That is why they are involved in many crappy pinks. A toxic financer is no sign of hidden strength or worth...just a sign that they believe they can make money most of the time...even when others get burned.
