The curious thing about Jones is that if the government were as evil and corrupt as he puts forth he'd be in one of the FEMA death camps he has uncovered. That simple logic seems to escape his followers.
to boot .. that emphasized in red here and underlined more than once (you gotta imagine that) sadly he is enabled not only by his AJonesian acolytes, but also by some in government and in media, as your article mentioned, and by more in the non-media corporate world .. why? how? .. well, conspiracy theories, as we know, most always consist of a kernel of truth bound in a spiderweb of mythological construct .. construct created by those who for political reasons push his inane and virulent version of extreme anti-government propaganda garbage .. exaggerated half-truth package in toto, i mean .. yes, it's sad to see so many conspiracy theories given fuel by government and/or corporate cover-up ..
The 9/11 Truth movement's conspiracy theory was another helped by bullshit from the government's side.
-- Though military officials were exonerated of intentionally misleading the 9/11 Commission, some staff members of the commission would later go on to describe the testimony as deliberately untrue .. http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2006/08/norad200608#gotopage21 .
-- In Search of John Doe No. 2: The Story the Feds Never Told About the Oklahoma City Bombing
Federal officials insist that the Oklahoma City bombing case was solved a decade ago. But a Salt Lake City lawyer in search of his brother's killers has dug up some remarkable clues—on cross-dressing bank robbers, the FBI, and the mysterious third man.

In late 2000, the civil lawsuit brought by the Trentadue family commenced in federal district court in Oklahoma City. The jury found that Stuart A. Lee, the prison official in charge the night Kenney died, had violated Kenney's civil rights by being "deliberately indifferent to his medical needs." Four months later, the court awarded the family $1.1 million for emotional distress (based not on Kenney's death itself, but on the bop's conduct afterward). The court denounced prison employees for trying to cover up their own misconduct, declaring that, "From the time of Trentadue's death up to and including the trial, these witnesses seemed unable to comprehend the importance of a truthful answer." The government appealed, and the matter remains bogged down in the courts to this day. http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2007/07/search-john-doe-no-2-story-feds-never-told-about-oklahoma-city-bombing?page=4 .. dated 2007. --
Alex Jones revels in his world of delusion where all fuck-ups by individuals in government and multi-national corporations are part of the NWO conspiracy .. that every ordinary citizen who does not speak out as he does against what he sees as injustice (some is) and illegality (some is) are "scum, filth, trash, maggots" .. yeah he is a 'savior' in his own mind .. Jones in
said Kissinger said cops are "dumb cannon fodder" (yeah, that's cool, eh, wonder how many children's parents have them watching the tub .. i wondered where he got that from .. ok, here's one satire on an hmm site ..
-- Our young, in the US and West, are prepared because they have been programmed to be good soldiers, cannon fodder, and when they will be ordered to go out into the streets and fight those crazy Chins and Russkies, they will obey their orders. Out of the ashes we shall build a new society, there will only be one superpower left, and that one will be the global government that wins. Don’t forget, the United States, has the best weapons, we have stuff that no other nation has, and we will introduce those weapons to the world when the time is right.”
"Not too long ago, when Oklahoma was ravaged by a super-tornado, Jones dedicated a segment of his show to a theory that President Obama uses “weather weapons” to manufacture tornadoes; and, what’s more, that he also deployed “helicopters and small aircraft” to “create and steer groups of tornadoes.” Why, exactly, would Obama want to do this? Doesn’t matter. And, by the way, why aren’t we using this awesomely destructive — and, in the real world, nonexistent — power against, say, ISIS? (The answer is obviously — because Jones believes Obama needs ISIS to exist in order to [insert another crazy conspiracy theory here].)"
Incidentally, when Obama’s not using tiny helicopters to move weather events endowed with the destructive power of the Hiroshima bomb, he’s busily manufacturing juice boxes to manipulate the testosterone levels of children, turning young boys gay somehow."
