It is highly unlikely that a company investing substantial sums to generate future growth in a FUTURE INDUSTRY would report a profit, especially in an industry with such a shifting regulatory landscape.

I'd be surprised if they DID report a profit, for that would tell me they were too focused on current results, rather than the big payoff in 5 or 10 years.
