They are, some people use bid sitting as helpful support lines too. Myself included.
Some of us already have millions of shares, and would rather help support this upward, by assisting with the bid, then actually scooping down the ask.
Just my 2 cents. normally you notice once we can base line somewhere for long enough bids all shift up.
