But to some here on this board it is " sway" rather then common sense "Listening" what he says his motive are and intentions are, rather then " Watching" his shallow and contradictory follow-up to the words of "not me , I am unbiased " are, should be the only focus you should have.
Stock brokers lie and Professors lie. Professors in stocks probably lie 2 X as much because there is real money involved.
A little dirty story about academia. They (Professors) are no different from anyone else or "group" :
I once dated a women working in her PhD at an Ivy League school and her class-mate was doing the same. When he submitted his dissertation and had it reviewed by his mentor PROFESSOR, ( often seen on msnbc and cnn giving commentary in his field is "study") the Professor told him his statistics would not prove his thesis. What to do, asked the shaken lad? Professor told him. " change these three numbers and it will work". He did and graduated with his PhD.
