If you don't have any experience with GW why do any comments at all,... a simple comment like I am not at this point knowledgable enough to comment either.

Instead you recommend to not buy the stock and to not short the stock,... That is two recommendations!

When coming to this MB for the first time it's always good advisable to do a little bit of searching about the topics you are going to address, especially if you didn't have the time to read extended interviews etc...
May I suggest you to have a look to post 24714 and especially this part that came out of an interview with Eric Kelly the CEO of S3D:

Is Glassware the Sphere 3D equivalent of a hypervisor?

Kelly: It's a thin software layer, thinner than a traditional hypervisor. We call it a 'micro-visor.' Glassware handshakes with the necessary components, but doesn't interfere with the connection between an application and storage hardware. That's our secret sauce. It's a different architecture than VMware and Citrix use. We did benchmark testing at Dell World 2014 where we virtualized more than 7,000 concurrent applications running on a PowerEdge VRTX box. The same VRTX hardware running VMware was measured at 500 [concurrent applications]. That's a 12-1 ratio of economics with Glassware for building out cloud storage infrastructure. To give you an idea of where we're going with this, we filed a patent to put Glassware on a chipset. That would mean you no longer need [products such as] Citrix and VMware.

For someone claiming to "have no interest" in ANY you seem to have spent a lot of your time responding to what has been said on this board. Maybe you should spend more time researching exactly what Glassware is all about before you provide a "non-biased" opinion.

Far from it Ben. You have no background on the shorts, who they are, and what they have done to date in terms of trading and hit articles. Like you, I have no interest in wasting my time. You claim not to be an expert on ANY's technology, their products , and their relationship with Microsoft, and then you proceed to sit on the fence and recommend that you would not be a buyer or seller. You should have finished your recommendation by saying it was a hold. If you want to learn about ANY and Microsoft go to the Microsoft/ Sphere3D roadshow on May/20th. You can see what they are doing first hand, and then make an informed decision as to what your comments would be before you put them in writing

Here are the co-ordinates:

Sphere 3D and Microsoft "Technologies to Power the Next Cloud" Events

Please join Sphere 3D and Microsoft for an exclusive event to discover the technologies that will drive the “Next Cloud” for your business Sphere 3D

You are invited to the Sphere 3D / Microsoft roadshow. The events will be held at Microsoft Technology Centers in Silicon Valley, New York, London and Toronto, and provide an overview of Sphere 3D’s technologies and solutions for the "Next Cloud" featuring Glassware 2.0 Windows container technology for application delivery and the latest in virtual storage technology.

Adoption of cloud-based deployment models continues to accelerate and so does the need for the evolution of the associated architectures and business models to ensure success. This means enabling new and innovative capabilities that support public, private, and hybrid deployments in the cloud.

At these events attendees will explore how new technologies are enabling organizations to easily virtualize and migrate legacy and Windows-based applications to the cloud. In addition, attendees will be able to participate in demonstrations of new container based technologies for virtualizing applications, regardless of their hardware or operating system platform dependencies, and get a glimpse at new virtual storage options for the enterprise.

welcome professor... always interested in ideas and points of view... as I understand your response... by your own admission your knowledge of this company and its technology is quite limited... yours is something of a theoretical review... whereas a number of longs here have completed extensive research...

more telling though is the acceptance in the market place... in both education and healthcare verticals... product has been validated not once, but twice, by customers who have thoroughly kicked the tires and come back for more...

Msft is the latest in a significant line of validations which also includes Dell... so while in theory you may have a point... in the marketplace there is practical adoption of technology.

I agree with you this stock is not for you... DD lite just doesn't cut it in the rough and tumble of the nanocap world... jmo... wishing you all the best...

The easist way of validating you is to call you at your place of employ. Hugo provided your info for us if we choose to do so. Have you been talking with Hugo? The more I think about your sudden arrival and comments on ANY the more I wonder why you are here. Does your employer encourage this type of commentary on your behalf where you openly admit you know little of ANY and its technology. Makes no sense.
