For me to consider this a long term investment (like an IBM or Microsoft type stock) there has to be some sort of consistent trend.
I am not saying they are doing anything unethical, but if this is a vehicle for monetizing university research I would be looking for an exit at some point.
If anyone has any other explanation of the long term stock fluctuations as reflected in the chart I would love to hear it. As I said, it's just a theory on my part.
